Independently-owned coffee house, kitchen and bar brand, BEAR, has confirmed that it will open its Barons Quay store on the 11th September 2020.

Sam Nowzady, Store Manager at BEAR Northwich, said:

“We are excited to announce the opening of our new store in Barons Quay in September. The store fit-out is very nearly all finished, so it won’t be long before the espressos (and espresso martinis) are flowing!”

“We want to work closely with the community of Northwich, so we encourage people to pop in, speak to the team and let us know what we can do to support your business, charity or local event. I can’t wait to become a familiar face to you all, along with the rest of my team!”

Following the nationwide hospitality closures through March to July, BEAR have pulled out all stops to keep themselves afloat, pivoting their business to focus sales on their online store, launching their own range of coffee pods and pre-made picnic boxes, as well as turning their midlands stores in to takeout-only venues with a heavy focus on retail.

Branding themselves as #notanothercoffeeshop, BEAR are already proven front-runners in their industry, providing seasonal fresh food, cocktails and craft beer alongside their signature speciality coffee, served from morning until evening in beautifully presented spaces.

BEAR will open in the bright, spacious unit overlooking the River Weaver, neighbouring the Odeon cinema and situated just a stone’s throw from the town centre. BEAR will operate a counter-service coffee house, kitchen and bar, offering a comfortable and inclusive space to relax over coffee and cake, brunch, or cocktails.

BEAR currently operates four other sites across the Midlands, as well as a coffee-house based inside Paperchase on Tottenham Court Road, Central London.
