Beautifix Opens at Barons Quay

A new beauty salon and training academy will open at Barons Quay this week bringing an exciting new offering to the centre of Northwich!

Beautifix, which occupies a 3,000 square ft space next to Sports Direct in Barons Square, opens its doors on Tuesday 11th January and promises to be a one-stop-shop for locals who are looking for quality hair and beauty treatments.

The team of 11 technicians provide a wealth of beauty expertise on everything from nails, lashes, skin, brows, make-up and hair.  The new salon will also offer medical facials and aesthetics administered by its in-house nurse who is experienced in injectables and medical grade skin services.

The large open plan space, with a stylish scandi-themed interior includes a make-up bar, nail bar, brow bar and hairdressing area.  There are also three private treatment rooms, quieter spaces where customers can relax.

Beautifix owners Niamh Smith and Bernice Flynn have also established the Beautifix Academy, passing on their skills to train the next generation of talented beauticians via a number of accredited training courses that wannabe beauty experts can sign up to online.

The team is also planning a number of events throughout the year, such as wellness and makeup master classes to help local people look and feel great.

Niamh from Cuddington and Bernice from Warrington opened their first salon in Chesterway Retail Park in 2019, specialising in quality beauty treatments for nails, brows and lashes.  Their popularity in Northwich and beyond meant that the ambitious duo quickly outgrew this space and needed bigger premises to allow them to offer a more diverse range of treatments to their 800 clients!

Beautifix founder Niamh Smith said: ““We are really excited to be part of Barons Quay which has a brilliant mix of shops and leisure! The team is looking forward to welcoming customers old and new to our amazing new salon, which has been designed to create a warm and friendly atmosphere for our clients.

“The additional space means we have been able to grow our team, who are all experts in their field and bring an exciting mix of new services to local people who deserve to look their best.”

Lina Higuita, Centre Manager at Barons Quay said: “The Beautifix salon is looking fantastic. We are delighted to be welcoming Niamh and Bernice, two experienced and talented beauticians who are bringing their top quality services and training to Barons Quay.”

Councillor Richard Beacham, Cabinet Member for Inclusive Growth, Economy and Regeneration, said: “We welcome another new business to Barons Quay to add to the already diverse range of retailers and leisure companies operating at the site. I encourage Northwich residents and others from across the borough to pay a visit to Beautifix and support our local businesses so that they can prosper in 2022.”

Beautifix is open Tuesday – Saturday with late night opening on a Thursday.   Booking an appointment is advised via, although walk-ins are welcome.
