Puddle Ducks Pool Build is going Swimmingly!

NEWS

We are delighted to share with you the first pictures of the Puddle Ducks pool build, which will open in Barons Quay later this year, offering swimming lessons for children aged 0-10 years!

Despite the challenges of the last 12 months building work is underway on the  new state-of-the-art flagship pool next to Sticky Paws and Geek Retreat.  This week franchise manager for mid Cheshire, Rachel Bateson shared these first pictures of the new centre.

She said: “Amongst all of the uncertainty, we are so excited that our new pool at Barons Quay is progressing well and we are still planning to open later this year.

“The pool is in, the mezzanine built and the underfloor heating is all laid – we just can’t wait to open. It really is something for us to look forward to.”

She added: “It’s really exciting that the build has started, we can really see the potential and the amount of interest in what’s happening has been huge – we’ve had lots of enquiries since we updated people on the build.

As well as catering to the specific requirements of babies and children from nought to 10, the new pool will also become a national teacher training centre.

Rachel added: “We have swum in Northwich for years so it’s really close to our hearts, in fact the very first Puddle Ducks classes took place in Northwich back in 2002, so it is fitting that the franchise is opening a flagship pool in Northwich town centre.”

Barons Quay Centre Manager, Lina Higuita said: “It’s great to share some positive news and to see these pictures, we cannot wait for Puddle Ducks to open later this year.  Swimming lessons for children are so important, it’s brilliant that we will have these top of the range facilities at the Centre for local families to benefit from.”
