BEAR Northwich Wins National Coffee Shop Award

BEAR, the riverside coffee house, kitchen and bar in Barons Quay, has been named ‘Best Independent Coffee Shop in the North West’ in the UK Enterprise Awards 2022 by SME News. 

The SME News UK Enterprise Awards champion exciting and vibrant businesses and industries from across the country. 

BEAR opened in Barons Quay, opposite the Odeon cinema, in September 2020. This was  the independent coffee shop’s sixth opening in four years, following branches in Uttoxeter, Derby, Stone and London.

Well-known for its fashionable interior, the Northwich store has floor to ceiling windows overlooking the River Weaver, making it the perfect spot to enjoy brunch, lunch or dinner!  BEAR has become a firm favourite with locals due to its imaginative and diverse menu, which includes tacos, pizza, burgers and cocktails! 

Like many in the hospitality industry, the business has had to cope with the impact of the pandemic, as well as managing staff shortages and supplier issues. However, BEAR is now back to full opening hours and has a new store manager.
