Cheshire West and Chester Council is aware of a small number of glazing defects within the Travellator Hall, which is adjacent to ASDA and the multi-story car park.

The panes that have failed are designed to remain in situ and we are installing netting and some decking as an additional precautionary measure.

We have asked professionals from the glazing industry to help us establish the cause of the failures and to agree the next course of action.

Full access to ASDA, the wider Barons Quay development and the rest of the town centre remains open to the public from the multi-story car park.
