Name the Landmarks and Win at Radio Northwich!

How well do you know Northwich’s local landmarks?  Radio Northwich has launched a new competition this week, which will test even the most knowledgeable residents as they try to name 21 different buildings!

The competition entitled; The Which is Wich Challenge is to celebrate the completion of a new mural at the station, which showcases the town’s architectural heritage and features its most iconic buildings.   The mural was painted by local artist Jim Stanley, who is from Rudheath.

Members of the public are invited to visit the studio to view the mural and test their knowledge for a chance to win an Amazon Echo Show 8 smart speaker that can be used for watching videos, listening to music, getting weather reports, controlling smart home devices, making video calls, and listening to Radio Northwich of course! 

To take part people can visit the studio between 10am-4pm to collect and complete the answer sheet.  The person with the most correct answers will win the prize.  In the event of a tie, a winner will be randomly selected.  The draw will be made during the Christmas Extravaganza on November 27th in Barons Square. 

John Thompson from Radio Northwich said: 

“We commissioned Jim to paint the mural in August to celebrate the opening of the studio and I think we can all agree that he’s done an amazing job! He’s really captured the beautiful buildings within the town and we want to invite more people to come in and see it up close!  We hope that entrants will enjoy taking part and perhaps they’ll learn something new along the way!”

The deadline for entries is Friday 26th November 2021.
